London, UK – October 2025
Sugar Studios in North Greenwich is proud to announce the launch of its new initiative, Made Sweeter, designed to support underrepresented and financially impacted creatives by providing flexible pricing packages, production support and dedicated studio access.
At a time when the creative industry continues to reel from the long-term effects of the pandemic, strikes and ongoing budget cuts, Sugar Studios is stepping up with a renewed commitment: make the creative process more compassionate, accessible and sustainable for everyone. Since its opening in 2018, Sugar Studios has stood as a champion of creativity and collaboration, hosting a range of clients in theatre, music, film, advertising, sport, fashion, art, virtual production, community events and more. Through every industry hurdle, the team has remained committed to helping creatives turn obstacles into opportunities.
“At Sugar Studios, we want to give storytellers every chance to make their projects possible,” said Jo Wallace, Studio Director at Sugar Studios. “Made Sweeter is about more than just studio time. It’s about fostering opportunity, building trust, and nurturing long-term creative relationships. We believe that every creator has something valuable to contribute, and by supporting them, we hope to help shape and sustain a vibrant, inclusive creative community where ideas can flourish and collaborations can grow beyond a single brief.”
Made Sweeter is a promise to storytellers from across the industry, spanning from rising talent to blossoming ad agencies to virtual production start ups that creativity can thrive no matter the circumstances. Whether you’re a local or independent artist, a self-starter looking to grow, or a decision-maker reimagining your brand, Sugar Studios is offering:
Flexible pricing models. Dedicated studio time and space for passion projects, early-stage work and community events. Discounts on catering and in-house production materials. Partnership opportunities for those seeking mentorship or collaborative resources.
Sugar Studios recognises that while the demand for creative content continues to grow, the path to creation is sometimes difficult, especially for those without institutional support or traditional funding. Made Sweeter is a direct response to this imbalance, offering a concrete way for studios to contribute to a more inclusive creative landscape.
Located along the river in Greenwich’s Design District, Sugar Studios is home to four studios: The Infinity Cove, Green Screen, The Big Stage, and Blackout Photography Box. It boasts drive-in capabilities, sprung wooden floors, free parking, and an on-site cafe, making it one of the most accessible studios in London. While Sugar Studios has always strived to make their studios flexible and turn-key, offering full-service production facilities and a no-ego approach, the launch of Made Sweeter cements this mission, turning it into a formal and public commitment.
“Filling our studios with creatives is always the goal. And if we can help make that happen, everyone benefits,” said Karen Thomson, Finance Director at Sugar Studios.
The programme launches this October and will run for the remainder of 2025 and into 2026. Participants must meet qualifications set by Sugar Studios in order to be considered.
