‘Made Sweeter’ Initiative Promoted by Leading Industry Organisations

November 2025

Made Sweeter, the latest studio initiative launched in October aimed to support underrepresented creatives, is gaining traction among popular industry publications.
In a recent article, Broadcast Tech shared the details of the initiative along with the link to apply:
“The Greenwich facility, which includes both standard, virtual production and green screen spaces among its four studios, has opened applications for these groups here. Successful applicants will receive a bespoke mix of discounted studio space, catering and/or kit, as well as assistance with planning plus mentorship and collaboration opportunities. What they receive will be based on their timeline, existing budget, and project goals.”
Similarly, British Cinematographer has amplified the campaign, saying:
“The move aims to make the creative process more compassionate, accessible and sustainable…”

The purpose of the initiative is to work 1:1 with creatives in need to provide flexible pricing models on studio spaces, dedicated studio time and space for projects, discounts on catering and in-house production materials, and partnership opportunities for those seeking mentorship or collaborative resources.

Sugar Studios recognises that while the demand for creative content continues to grow, the path to creation is sometimes difficult, especially for those without institutional support or traditional funding. Made Sweeter is a direct response to this imbalance, offering a concrete way for studios to contribute to a more inclusive creative landscape.

The programme launched in October and will run for the remainder of 2025 and into 2026. Participants must meet qualifications set by Sugar Studios in order to be considered. All interested creatives are encouraged to apply.
