Sugar Studios to host workshops that focus on breaking into the creative industry

By hosting workshops that focus on the creative industry and engaging the younger community within the arts, we will be providing talks with industry professionals, art classes, multimedia events and how-to’s when it comes to the creative industry.

Collaborating with Break The Wall, we’ve joined a mentoring programme that lasts for 16 weeks and focuses on enlightening young people to understand the creative industry, build their network, expand their portfolio and develop key skills. Aimed at young people aged between 16-25 and from lower socio-economic backgrounds, mentees will be matched with someone who compliments their skills within film & TV, advertising, publishing, design and/or fashion.

By partnering up with Royal Greenwich Young People, we will also be taking on young individuals aged between 16-18, 19-24 and 25 if they have a learning need to complete a six week internship to provide insight into working within the creative industry such as within film, photography, art and music.

Since receiving our events license as well, we have joined forces with Sofar Sounds, an events community that brings together music enthusiasts to experience live, intimate music shows from up and coming musicians in the local community.

If you would like to get involved with mentoring, hosting a talk or workshop, feel free to get in contact with us.
